Down in the garden. Block 1

This is block 1 of Down in the Garden by Leanne Beasley. This quilt is so much fun to work on. The applique and embroidery do make it labor intensive and time consuming. But I am loving the results. Now on to block 3.

Needle felted Easter eggs.

I took a little break from my quilting. I learned to needle felt and was totally hooked. These are a sample of this years eggs.

Down in the Garden. Block 2

It's a snowy Sunday. I just finished this block. It took much longer than I anticipated but it is sure one of my favorites. I can hardly wait to start the next one.

Block two. Down in the garden

Taking a little break from the bbiggs quilt. Today is a cold Sunday. I pieced block two of down in the garden by Leanne Beasley. I just love the fabrics and the stitching. This is the first time I've used a stabilizer in quilt blocks, but it sure does make the stitching nicer.

Christmas 2014

I didn't get much quilting done, but I did finish 5 Infiniti cowls. Most were a chunky yarn. But the dark purple was a finer tarn. It ended up being my favorite as it has a great drape to it.

Bill was taking over Pam's.

- Now it's back to quilting. Ready to finish a Benjamin Biggs blocks.
