Baby quilt complete

It started out as chevrons but I cut the other half the wrong angle. So now there will be two quilts. But I'm very happy how it turned out. And I love the fish fabric

This is my 3rd drop stitch cowl. It's a pattern by spidewomanknits. It's easy and turns out great!

It's on to the quilting. I'm really happy with the completed top. It's 120 8 inch blocks. Now back to applique.

Benjamin Biggs block one complete

This is the first block completed in the quilt. I hand appliqued using the back basting method. It worked really nice on the large piece.

Start of the Benjamin Biggs quilt

Today I officially started work on the Benjamin Biggs quilt. I'm also giving back basting it's first try. I liked the ease of getting ready and the basting onto the background feels stable. Not sure if the points and curves are as good as using the freezer paper method. But it is good to try new things. My two good friends are a,so working on same quilt. It's a block of month from sentimental stitches and dear jane
