Garden blocks

A finish. Really fun candle mat. It's by buttermilk basin. I almost didn't put on the beads. So glad I did. The little bit of sparkle sets it off

This is block 5 of at home in the garden. I love working with the wool.

I also am on block 5 of Down in the Garden. I enjoy the stitching on this one while watching football

I also spent a little time on this Jo Morton quit. S.mores

Hat from sheared bliss yarn

Just finished this hat. Bought the yarn at a store called the wild yarn in denver. It was a local artists yarn and a pleasure to work with.

This is me and my son Chris. It was a snowy day in Denver

Baby hat

This was my first attempt at a baby hat. I used knitcol yarn. I was so pleased with the way it turned out. My great-nephew Ollie was the recipient. He loves it also. Know I am going to have to tackle mittens.

Jacobs garden by the rabbit factory

I just finished this for my nieces wedding. It was started not sure how many years ago, but at least 14 by my good friend Cheri. I finished the applique and quilting. I had really planned on keeping it, but didn't turn out that way. It is always fun to give it away. And feels good to finish a long ago UFO. So now on to the next one.

Baby quilt

I saw this cute quilt on a Facebook group,so I made my own version. It uses a charm pack and some plain fabric. I used a flannel on the back. It worked up quickly and made a nice gift for a baby boy .

Down in the garden. Block 1

This is block 1 of Down in the Garden by Leanne Beasley. This quilt is so much fun to work on. The applique and embroidery do make it labor intensive and time consuming. But I am loving the results. Now on to block 3.

Block two. Down in the garden

Taking a little break from the bbiggs quilt. Today is a cold Sunday. I pieced block two of down in the garden by Leanne Beasley. I just love the fabrics and the stitching. This is the first time I've used a stabilizer in quilt blocks, but it sure does make the stitching nicer.
